Venture Life increases distribution across Boots stores

Venture Life Group increased distribution of its oral hygiene brand UltraDEX's products in the UK with Boots by 46%, with the high street chemist launching two of its new products.
The AIM-traded consumer health products firm said that its new deal with Boots will add a further 3,686 new points of distribution for UltraDEX in Boots stores from its starting point in July, giving the brand over 18,800 points of distribution nationwide, its highest ever on a national level.

Jerry Randall, chief executive of Venture Life Group, said: "Over the last 12 months, including this increase announced today, we have seen a 49% increase in our overall UK pharmacy and retail store listings for the range, taking it to the highest level ever for the brand."

Boots will also launch One GO and the Fresh Breath Essential Kit, two new UltraDEX products from Venture Life.

One GO, which recently launched in 793 Superdrug stores, is a sachet based mint mouthwash product, while the Fresh Breath kit includes four different UltraDEX products in one package, designed to help consumers begin a daily regimen of oral care.

"We have now partnered the range internationally in nine countries since acquisition, including three of the four main countries in the EU. We have also widened the patent estate over the UltraDEX Sensitive range, where the patent has now been approved in Canada, meaning this patent now covers a total of nine countries worldwide," said Randall.

This new patent adds to the existing patents granted for the range in eight other countries including USA, UK, Japan and Australia.

As of 0911 BST, Venture Life Group's shares were up 6.33% at 42.00p.
